what I have learnt

This term I have learnt lots in science learning about elements and reactions. So far I have learnt the first 20 elements on the periodic table. Reactions like chemical reaction, decomposition reaction and displacement reaction. We have also done some pracs with candles, vinegar and soda and magnesium ribbon I am looking forward to learning much more.

The Truman Show
The Truman show is a show that runs 24 hours a day every day of the week. The TV show is about a boy, from a very young age is adopted be a film director. The film director is Christof. Christof creates the perfect life that is a TV. This set is a dome (like in the Simpsons movie) that controls temperature, wind, sounds, people, cameras, (5000 cameras in the dome) night and day. Day and night includes sun set, sun rise and the moon. His whole life if fake all his friends and his pretend family are actors. About 30 years later he finds out that his life is a lie.
I think that if this happened in real life I would be cruel and we would not allow it. Imagine if you just realised that your whole life was fake all your friends are not your friends they are actors. The people who you thought were your family are not really your family and that for the past 30 years everyone has been watching you.

Blog entry for this week: write a post about how you use gadgets like computers, phones, mp3 players and the internet. Do you think there are problems with the way teenagers are using all these things? I would love to read your ideas. If you want to write about a different topic that you have thought of yourself of course you may. Try to include a link to another page on the internet in your post.
I think that technology today is very advanced and it will keep getting better. When you buy the latest I-pod with in 6 months it will by old and a new better one will be out. The good thing about this is that it can help people e.g. the bionic ear. So people with disabilities can do normal things that every day teenagers do. One of the new technology peaces is the Mimi Switch” or “Ear Switch is the latest iPod peace it will be able to help the disabled but I think that a new better will be invented.
I hate it when i listen to the radio and a song comes up and it is a good song, the only thing is i have no idea what it is called but technology has found a solution for this too. The new i-pod touch has a thing on it that you hold it up to the song and it will tell you what it is and where you can get it.

I go to a school near the beach, we go to the beach a lot and do life saving and sailing.
I like to do sailing and arty thing like creative art and design.
When i am older i would like to work with children.
